Who is the data controller

We hereby inform you that the data controller of your personal data is dentsu Polska sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw at ul. Czerska 12 (00-732 Warsaw), hereinafter referred to as the "Controller" or the "Company".

The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who can be contacted via email at iod@dentsu.com for all matters related to your personal data.

What are the purposes of processing personal data

Processing of your personal data in the form of professional contact details, including email address, phone number, first and last name, job title/company name (company), will be carried out for the following purposes:

For electronically transmitting information regarding products and services of the dentsu Group, including related satisfaction surveys.

For conducting personalized satisfaction surveys of services provided by the dentsu Group – in such cases, processed data will include, alongside the mentioned professional contact details, information about responses provided in the satisfaction surveys.

For conducting other business communications between the Controller and the company you represent or cooperate with, including in relation to the execution of concluded agreements and any arrangements, investigations, or defense against claims related to such agreements or the processing of your personal data.

What is the legal basis for processing personal data?

 

The legal basis for processing your personal data is as follows:

For the purpose of electronically transmitting information regarding products and services of the dentsu Group, including related satisfaction surveys – Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR).

For conducting personalized satisfaction surveys of services provided by the dentsu Group – Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

For conducting other business communications between the Controller and the company you represent or cooperate with, including in relation to the execution of concluded agreements and any arrangements, investigations, or defense against claims related to such agreements or the processing of your personal data – Legitimate interests pursued by the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), namely the necessity to maintain relations between the Controller and the company you cooperate with or represent, and the necessity to protect the rights of the Controller.

What is the data retention period:

Regarding the processing of personal data based on your consent (i.e., for electronically transmitting information regarding products and services of the dentsu Group and for conducting personalized satisfaction surveys), the Controller will process your data until the withdrawal of consent. The Controller will conclude the processing of data collected based on its legitimate interest after the termination of the cooperation period between the Controller and the company you cooperate with or represent, or – if necessary – after the expiry of the period for using the data for establishing, pursuing, or defending against claims. Data may be deleted earlier if you object to the processing of data for these purposes (in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR).

Your data in the form of professional contact details are sourced from the company Isobar, which is part of the dentsu Group.

To whom do we transfer data:

Your data may be disclosed to entities within the dentsu Group and to entities cooperating with the dentsu Group located outside the country in which you work, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In the event of the transfer of your personal data to a third country, the dentsu Group ensures compliance with applicable data protection law, including informing about the conditions of such transfer – in accordance with the aforementioned legal provisions and dentsu Group policies.

Transferring data to third countries

You have the right to:

Access your data, request its rectification, deletion, or limitation of processing.

Object to the processing of personal data in cases where the processing of personal data is based on the legitimate interest of the Controller, and to receive information about the Controller's legitimate interests and their relationship to your rights.

Withdraw your consent to the extent that it is the basis for processing your data; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

Data portability, i.e., to receive from the Controller information about your processed personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format to the extent that your data is processed in an automated manner for the purpose of concluding and executing a contract or based on consent. You can transfer the provided personal data to another data controller.
